General Audio/Visual Resources

*** Audios from Giles Hill

Audio and video. Very short but full of the most important information about topics from the Causes of World War I to the Cold War and Vietnam. Not all topics are useful for AP World History so choose carefully.

*** Videos from the Bridging World History series are scholarly and focused.

To watch the videos use the link captioned "VOD" (video on demand) that is found in the bottom left of each unit page.  Each video is approximately 25 minutes and focuses on three examples related to a particular topic.
The script of the video is available for viewing.  Alternatively this script can be displayed on the computer screen and read by the computer using one of several script reading tools such as Read-Write for chrome or one of the readers on Microsoft or Macintosh platforms.

*** Crash Course World History

Listen to units 1-20 before the mid-term.  Listening is a good as watching for many of his videos, though sometimes listening to a video twice or thrice will be helpful!

Listen to units 21-42 after the mid-term and before the AP test.

***Get A Five

This is a quiz site, but there are videos for each section.  Watch/listen to the videos for each section and then quiz yourself.  It looks like a site that requires payment, but it is free!
